dedicated to helping people with transitions in life. A family-owned
business started in 1959 by founder Sanford A. Alderfer, today we have
grown into three separate and distinct companies, each dedicated to serving
your needs with one point of contact:
Alderfer Auction & Appraisal Company…We are Auctioneers,
Appraisers, and Consultants, specializing in Estates, Personal Property and
the Creative Marketing and Sale of Major Collections of Antiques and
Collectibles.
Atlantic Moving Service…We are a full service Moving &
Storage Company capable of handling your most valuable personal items or
business equipment with professional confidence.
Tranzon Alderfer…Is both a local and a national Real Estate
Auction Company that combines the benefits of local market knowledge and
the resources of a national company to realize the highest possible value
for Real Estate and Business Assets…in the shortest possible time.

our auctioneers have also earned the respected Certified Auctioneers
Institute (CAI) and Graduate Personal Property Appraisers (GPPA)

State of the Art Auction Center
The
Alderfer Auction Center is an innovatively-designed auction center
exclusively devoted to The Auction Method of Selling. The focal point is
our large and flexibly organized main auditorium which is both elegantly
carpeted and well lit. When necessary it can be sub-divided into smaller
areas as may be necessary for more intimate Specialty Auctions. Our newly
renovated gallery and hallway, along with our outdoor selling area, provide
enough square footage that we usually have four or more auctioneers selling
simultaneously. Conveniences at the Alderfer Auction Center include a café
and a computerized registration system that processes all transactions
instantly and efficiently. Personal property and private collections are
carefully handled after they have been identified with a unique Consignor
ID# for tracking on our computerized inventory system. As you would expect,
professional safety and security measures are in abundance to assure a safe
environment for both our customers and our consigned merchandise.
